In this modern time of apostasy and blasphemy of God, the Roman Catholic Church far exceed the blasphemies of even many atheists and the hardest of sinners. What once would have had one stoned to death for, today is encouraged and acceptable to most.
One of the many means of blasphemy that the Catholic Church uses is to call their god, the Pope (See Another Christ and Another God), "The Holy Father." While to many this may not sound blasphemous, to the student of the Bible the blasphemy is instantly apparent. For this is the New Testament equivalent to calling a man, "God Almighty, the Great I AM." This is seen to be the truth in Jesus' prayer to the Father in John 17:11, which reads,
John 17:11
11 And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee, Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one as we are.
Here we see that the only One deserving of the title "Holy Father" is God the Father. Sadly, the Catholic Church has made an unholy man (Rom. 3:23; Jas. 5:19-20), the Pope, into their god, their "Holy Father."
Instead of worshipping the Holy Father that our Lord Jesus Christ worshipped, Catholics are worshipping the Unholy Father, the Pope. It can be understood that anyone that is a Catholic and reads this and still remains in the Catholic Church has shown God who they choose to be their Holy Father, thus rejecting the True Holy Father, God Almighty. This means they can have no salvation (Jn. 5:24), unless they repent (Lk. 13:3, 5; Acts 2:38).
Dear Catholic reader, have you not wondered what is the point of your religion? Have you not wondered why you are not free from the many sins that bind you? Are you disillusioned with the powerless religion you have seen in the Roman Catholic Church? Do you want to choose a true relationship with the Almighty Creator of the heavens and earth? The Roman Catholic Church may teach you that you need them to get to God, but God tells you to come unto Him. You go directly to Jesus Christ! You do not need a pope, a priest, or any man. The only mediator between God the Father and you is the Lord Jesus Christ (1 Timothy 2:15)! Do not be one of the many who choose man's religion over God. Ask the Lord God to save you from all sin, and start reading His word. Doing so will begin your true salvation and glorious life in Christ!
