76 TRUTHS ABOUT THE THIRD HEAVEN

The Bible teaches of three heavens. They are:

The first heaven - The atmospheric heavens or clouds (Gen. 1:8; Ps. 77:17-18; 104:2-3)
The second heaven - The starry space (Gen. 15:5; 22:17; 26:4; Dt. 1:10; Isa. 13:10; 14:13)
The third heaven - The planet heaven (Gen. 1:1; Isa. 14:12-14; 66:1; Rev. 21:2, 10)

Paul was caught up to the third heaven, the planet heaven, which he also called paradise:

2 Corinthians 12:1-4
1   It is not expedient for me doubtless to glory. I will come to visions and revelations of the Lord.
2   I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) such an one caught up to the third heaven.
3   And I knew such a man, (whether in the body, or out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;)
4   How that he was caught up into paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter.

The following 76 truths are concerning the third heaven, not the first or second heaven. So please keep that in mind while studying this.

It really should be no surprise that the third heaven has so many of the things we have on earth. They were created by the same Creator and have His unique style and glory to them. It is only when men try to complicate God and the things of God that they confuse the simplicity of many of the truths of God's word and make them into mystical nonsense. We should set ourselves forth to believe the plain truths of the word of God and never let the doctrines of men and devils cloud our views of the truth.
