REBUKING A WICCAN

The following "argument" was posted to a Web Forum. The reason I put this message here is to show you a typical Wiccan argument which is based on theory, speculation, and shear ignorance. A whole lot of these people are not kind, decent people as the e-mail's I have gotten from them prove. It is sad that many of these people are beyond being able to communicate without using profanity or resorting to name calling. Fear will do that to those who do not understand the truth. Why else would this article bother them so much if I was not right?

Some, however, do not bother other people and really do not care what other people believe. I have even had some of them say my article below is correct. What that means for their belief is that they choose to believe a lie anyway, even when they know they are wrong. They are generally closed to the gospel because they want it their way and not God's way. With all that being said, in between the lines is the argument of the Wiccan and following it is my rebuke. Do note that the beliefs of this Wiccan do not represent all Wiccans, but represent a great many that I have come in contact though.

The Biggest Lie Of All
The bible is the truth the way and the light. This can not be a truth, because the book is incomplete, and has been re-written by men such as King James, (a known hater of women). Sadly the parts that are intact are in whole or in part contradictory. Many examples of this can be found if you read the bible, but to mention a few, lets start with Genesis 4 verse 1 & 2:

The Next Big Lie
Can anyone tell me exactly which of my brothers and sisters is by the Adam and Eve Story, not one of their Gods people? No matter which two races you use for Adam and Eve, one of the three main Earth races is not represented. If One was Black and One was White, all of my Oriental brothers and sisters are not one of Gods people, if One was Oriental and One was Black, then all of my White brothers and sisters are not one of Gods people. If One was White, and One was Oriental, then by nature all of my Black brothers and sister are not one of Gods People. Now, I was challenged on this by friends because they remember that in Sunday school, they were told that Noah had 3 son’s one of each race. There is no such reference in the King James Version of the Bible.

Now that you have seen just a few of the thousands of lies in the most popular book ever written, and I might ad the very book that every Christian church uses to prove everyone else in the world is a sinner and bound for eternal damnation. If you doubt this, then ask your self this question. Why do each of the brands of Christianity use the Bible to prove the others are wrong? The Baptists condemn the Catholics, who in turn condemn the Methodists, who in their turn condemn the Protestants, who in turn condemn Jehovah's Witnesses, who in turn condemn Mormons. Now I ask you if they can’t even agree amongst themselves, when they all use the exact same book to prove each of their points, how are common people to sort out the truth of the entire matter? I for one choose to look at only the facts.

The facts as stated in the King James Bible.

Hebrews 6:20 Whither the forerunner is for us entered, even Jesus, made an high priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.

Simply Stated Jesus Christ was a High Priest, in the order of Malchisedec. Now it is a known fact that Jesus had 12 disciples, so what we in fact have is 12 disciples, with special mystical powers granted by their high priest, in the name of God, following the teachings of their high priest Jesus Christ.

Doesn’t it strike anyone but me oddly that in Witchcraft, which pre-dates Christianity by thousands of years, it’s a common practice to form a coven consisting of 12 dedicants following one high priest or priestess, and working in the name of a particular God or Goddess.

Is this another coincidence, or is it direct proof that the entire Christian religion is in fact based on the old pagan religions? If this is in fact the case which I believe it is, then Christianity is in fact, word, and deed Witchcraft. The facts prove, beyond any doubt that Jesus Christ was then and is now not the savior of Christians, but instead he was the greatest witch to ever live, and his coven of 12 disciples is a role model for all Witches.

I feel we should look at the truth, and all Witches, in whatever form they exist should unite under the common banner of Christ, and go about the business of getting our world back to the teachings of love, and healing that Christ was so proud of during his short life with us. Dwell on his life as real Magick, and forgive them for murdering this wondrous Witch.

Don’t listen to the lies of the Christian church, look at the facts, practice your Magick the way that Christ did, with love for all people, without regard to race, religion, or gender. It is time, the Millennium is upon us, we can die with the lies they tell about the Witches Savior, Jesus the Christ, or we can us our Magick to heal the world and make them see the errors they have made for 2000 years.

He says, "The bible is the truth the way and the light. This can not be a truth, because the book is incomplete, and has been re-written by men such as King James, (a known hater of women)."

He gives no proof that "the book is incomplete," "has been re-written," or that King James was "a known hater of women," but simply gives his theory. This means nothing more than any other person's theory about anything. He says it "has been re-written by men such as King James." Yet, King James did not translate the King James Bible, he simply commissioned it and had a group of translators do the translating. This is common of many of the Wiccans and others like them. They are so ignorant of the truth concerning the Bible, God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit, that they reject the weird concepts they have of them, while never actually knowing the truth about what they are rejecting. The Scriptures speak of these type people:

2 Timothy 3:1-9
1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,
7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
8 Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.
9 But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as theirs also was.

Many of the pagans learn many things about their religion and mythology, but they are "never able to come to the knowledge of the truth." This is due to them doing everything in their power to keep themselves deceived and others deceived. It is very sad when people willfully decide to stay in ignorance, yet that is exactly what many of these people do.

He says, "Sadly the parts that are intact are in whole or in part contradictory. Many examples of this can be found if you read the bible, but to mention a few, lets start with Genesis 4 verse 1 & 2"

Let's do that. Genesis 4:1-2 reads, "And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the LORD. And she again bare his brother Abel. And Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground."

There are two things that some people say are contradictory here. The first supposed contradiction is that Eve says she got a man from the Lord when Adam was the father. Now any fair-minded person would see that this is a real desperate attempt at making up a contradiction where none exists. If I say, "I have gotten a car from the Lord," am I saying that He made it? No. I am simply acknowledging the blessing of the Lord, as any normal reader would see in Eve's statement.

The other supposed contradiction is about as bad and misunderstands the text altogether. The other supposed contradiction from these verses is that v.2 does not say she conceived again, thus it teaches birth without conception. As laughable as this argument is, PEOPLE ACTUALLY HOLD TO IT! The reason that v.2 does not mention another conception is because there was only one time of conception in this context. Cain and Abel were twins, thus they would not have been conceived many months apart.

This is where the pure ignorance comes in. He is making all kinds of assumptions and passing them off as if the Bible teaches these fool theories. He is correct about that last statement, because there is no reference in the Bible to Noah's sons being three different races. If you follow the seed of the three sons of Noah you will find that the three main races of people do come from each of them, but they were obviously only of their father's race. Thus, his argument is useless. The Bible never teaches that Adam and Eve were black and white or any other different races from one another. They were the same color and the various races we have today show distinction among the main race, the human race.

This is the tragic error of many false religions. They argue and deny things they have made up about true believers and the Bible, rather than find out what they actually believe. It is one thing to correct a religion for what it teaches, it is another to pretend a religion believes a certain way and rebuke what it does not teach in the first place. Most wiccans reject a "Christianity" that originates from their own minds or from false Christianity, and then try to lump true believers in with the false and in with the make-believe Christianity they have dreamed up.

He knows his argument is as weak as possible, thus he proceeds to try to "convince" you of his religion by trying to get you to reject the Bible and God for something they have no part in, namely denominations and divisions. Some of the groups he mentioned are simply cultists and have nothing to do with God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit (i.e. Mormons, Jehovah's Witnesses, Catholics, etc.).

He says, "Simply Stated Jesus Christ was a High Priest, in the order of Malchisedec. I will grant him this much, even though his wording is not accurate (e.g. mystical?) and there were more than 12 disciples (as we will see later).

No. Pagans also sleep, eat, and breathe. Does that make Christian's pagans because they also do these things? In court these types of arguments would be either dismissed or held in low esteem because they are circumstantial and depend on the opinions of those presenting the issue. This proves nothing more than if someone were to say that this guy is a Christian because he read some of the Bible. Also, witchcraft does not pre-date Christianity. (The Wiccans are told this and blindly believe it, but it is not truth.) Remember that Christianity is a completion and carrying on of the teachings of God started way back from the very beginning of the present creation (Genesis 1-3).

He says, "Is this another coincidence, or is it direct proof that the entire Christian religion is in fact based on the old pagan religions? Notice the illogic. This guy tries to suggest that "the entire Christian religion is in fact based on the old pagan religions" because the Lord Jesus had twelve disciples and the Wiccans have similar structures. This would be like saying because one family has three children, all male, and they are Satanists, that another family with three children, all male, would be a Satanic family also simply because their families have the same structure. Surely the entire Wiccan system is not based around the ordering of the various peoples? It is not, and neither is that of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ. Also, as I am sure this man is unaware, the Lord Jesus Christ had way more than twelve disciples that followed Him. Look at the following Scriptures:

Luke 9:57-10:20
57 And it came to pass, that, as they went in the way, a certain man said unto him, Lord, I will follow thee whithersoever thou goest.
58 And Jesus said unto him, Foxes have holes, and birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head.
59 And he said unto another, Follow me. But he said, Lord, suffer me first to go and bury my father.
60 Jesus said unto him, Let the dead bury their dead: but go thou and preach the kingdom of God.
61 And another also said, Lord, I will follow thee; but let me first go bid them farewell, which are at home at my house.
62 And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.
10:1 After these things the Lord appointed other seventy also, and sent them two and two before his face into every city and place, whither he himself would come.
2 Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest.
3 Go your ways: behold, I send you forth as lambs among wolves.
4 Carry neither purse, nor scrip, nor shoes: and salute no man by the way.
5 And into whatsoever house ye enter, first say, Peace be to this house.
6 And if the son of peace be there, your peace shall rest upon it: if not, it shall turn to you again.
7 And in the same house remain, eating and drinking such things as they give: for the labourer is worthy of his hire. Go not from house to house.
8 And into whatsoever city ye enter, and they receive you, eat such things as are set before you:
9 And heal the sick that are therein, and say unto them, The kingdom of God is come nigh unto you.
10 But into whatsoever city ye enter, and they receive you not, go your ways out into the streets of the same, and say,
11 Even the very dust of your city, which cleaveth on us, we do wipe off against you: notwithstanding be ye sure of this, that the kingdom of God is come nigh unto you.
12 But I say unto you, that it shall be more tolerable in that day for Sodom, than for that city.
13 Woe unto thee, Chorazin! woe unto thee, Bethsaida! for if the mighty works had been done in Tyre and Sidon, which have been done in you, they had a great while ago repented, sitting in sackcloth and ashes.
14 But it shall be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the judgment, than for you.
15 And thou, Capernaum, which art exalted to heaven, shalt be thrust down to hell.

17 And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name.
18 And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.
19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
20 Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.

Luke 9:49-50
49 And John answered and said, Master, we saw one casting out devils in thy name; and we forbad him, because he followeth not with us.
50 And Jesus said unto him, Forbid him not: for he that is not against us is for us.

So from these verses we see that the Lord Jesus had at least 83 active disciples (i.e. that is the 12 first ones + the 70 + the one = 83). This alone destroys the entire premise for this Wiccan argument, because many of their covens could not get 83 people together even if they paid them money. Beside that, they are structured for twelve following one, while the Church is structured for whosoever will come (Revelation 22:17).

If they would follow the teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ they would do away with their false religion. These people do not have freedom from sin and have a religion that cannot promise them that. Bible based Christianity does promise full forgiveness and freedom from sin. Jesus was not a witch like this man says. God told the children of Israel, "Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live" (Exodus 22:18); "Regard not them that have familiar spirits, neither seek after wizards, to be defiled by them: I am the LORD your God" (Leviticus 19:31); "A man also or woman that hath a familiar spirit, or that is a wizard, shall surely be put to death: they shall stone them with stones: their blood shall be upon them" (Leviticus 20:17); "There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch, Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee. Thou shalt be perfect with the LORD thy God" (Deuteronomy 18:10-13). Never does God have anything to do with witches and wizards and the like.
